Bridge City

Portland is a city with a diverse array of bridges that span different geographical features and roads, serving different purposes. These bridges accommodate vehicles, pedestrians, and even trains. One notable feature is the 12 bridges that cross the Willamette River.

Known as the "City of Neighborhoods," Portland is divided into six main geographical sections: North, Northeast, Northwest, South, Southeast, and Southwest. Locals often refer to these sections as the city's "quadrants." Burnside Street divides the city into north and south, while the Willamette River divides it into east and west.

NE Portland
